Every Program Now Has A Price On It

For a long time the honest answer to "what does it cost?" was "let us get back to you." That is a bad answer for a family trying to plan a birthday, and a worse one for an activities director at a senior community who has to put a number in a budget before they can say yes to anything.

So we priced it. The petting zoo is $100 an hour with a two-hour minimum. Ranch tours start at $45 for adults and $20 for kids, and anything two hours or longer comes with a light lunch. Goat yoga is priced by session length and number of goats, so a small class does not subsidize a big one. Coaching sessions start at $95. Renting the ranch for a photo shoot is $200 for two hours, and a full production day is $900.

Anything that does not fit one of those packages gets a quote, and the quote is a real one rather than a number we make up based on how the booking sounds. Everything you pay goes into feed, hoof care, veterinary bills, and pulling the next dog out of a shelter run.

The other thing worth saying plainly: we are in Woodcrest, right next door to Riverside. Twenty minutes from downtown, and far enough out that the animals get quiet.
